International Scientific and Business Congress on Protecting the Climate
– A World Joint Strategy –

The International Scientific and Business Congress on Protecting the Climate - A World Joint Strategy is operating under the Motto "Achieving a Sustainable Balance" http://congress.is-abc.com

The International Scientific and Business Congress on Protecting the Climate is listed in the COP15 Calendar and in the House of Commons – Environmental Audit - Sixth Report: § 4 Kyoto instruments / International regulatory body for Carbon Markets.

The Congress vision encompasses the further development of the World Joint Climate Protection Strategy as well as an increase in new economic and social opportunities for the developing countries. This will engender a positive input toward necessary global change, which can only be effectively implemented at such a basic business level.

The practical goal of the International Scientific and Business Congress is further development and transfer of clean technologies, as well as the creation of a localisation program on environmental business and supply base in developing countries. The specific emphasis is directed toward private business and education.

Such an action plan will provide the important and very timely opportunity to replace the traditional energy resources with clean renewable energy produced in the developing countries:

The development of the practical goal of the Congress is to be realised by holding the annual editions of the Congress in developing countries for the continuous development of a joint climate protection strategy of science and industry worldwide with subsequent practical suggestions for implementation and defining monitoring mechanisms.

The First Congress was held in association with UNFCCC Expert Group on Technology Transfer (EGTT) on April 22, 2008 in City Hall, Frankfurt am Main, Germany under the patronage of Lord Browne of Madingley (formerly BP).

The Congress community of the first gathering decided to start the localisation on environmental business in India with subsequent strategy transfer to other developing countries.

The India Edition 2009, listed in the COP 15 Calendar, was successfully held under the patronage of Dr R.K. Pachauri in New Delhi as a joint special event during the Delhi Sustainable Development Summit 2009.
